PSNI Awards Techteriors and Blue Sky Integrated Technologies ‘Best Places to Work in AV’

PSNI Affiliates Awarded Based off Results of Key Performance Metrics

Professional Systems Network International, the leading network of independent AV/IT systems integrators awarded affiliate Techteriors, located in Mequon, WI and Blue Sky Integrated Technologies, located in Seattle, WA the “Best Places to Work in AV” award based off the annual PSNI-exclusive Employee Engagement Survey results. This annual survey compares key performance metrics identified by research firm, InfoSurv.

Awarded at the 9th annual PSNI Supersummit, Techteriors received the “‘The Best Place to Work in AV’ with over 50 employees” award while Blue Sky Integrated Technologies was the recipient of “’The Best Place to Work in AV’ with under 50 employees” award.

“Techteriors and Blue Sky Integrated Technologies have embraced a culture of fiscal accountability, overall client satisfaction and a commitment to employee engagement and empowerment that others strive to duplicate,” said Chris Miller, PSNI Executive Director.  “These teams do an exceptional job to encourage their employees and their interests in order to pursue the company’s missions and goals.”

The 2015 Employee Engagement Survey had a response rate of over 86% of the approximate 2500 participating PSNI affiliate employees throughout North America. The survey asks respondents to identify their trust in leadership, organizational culture, ownership of job responsibilities, potential for achievement, effective communication and the hiring of like-minded employees that fit within the organization. Techteriors and Blue Sky Integrated Technologies received top marks in all categories making them the 2015 award recipients.

“Employee engagement has moved from being a “nice idea” to a critical business need,” explained Lenni Moore, director of operations at InfoSurv.  “Employee engagement translates to real world, bottom line results. During our analyzation of PSNI, we found that as disengagement levels go up, PSNI client likelihood to recommend drops. When net engagement goes up, likelihood to recommend the company goes up. It doesn’t get more compelling than that.”

The PSNI Employee Engagement Survey is the only one of it’s kind within the AV industry.  Each year, the PSNI affiliates are surveyed to see where results are driven from and where they can improve.
