Professional Systems Network International (PSNI) announces the two-year appointment of Dana Barron, CEO of HB Communications, as new acting president of PSN’s board of directors. As acting president, Barron is responsible for providing overall leadership and presides over all affiliates and the board.

Barron replaces Andy Sellers, Principal of Sensory Technologies as President while Sellers will act as Past-President.

"I am honored to serve as President for PSNI as I firmly believe in what PSNI stands for,” stated Barron. “Serving on the board for the past few years has given me added insight and appreciation for what this organization can accomplish. I look forward to helping lead in PSNI's continuing efforts to exceed the goals of our clients, affiliates, and preferred vendors"

2016 PSNI elected officers include:

  • Past-President/Chairman: Andy Sellers, Principal, Sensory Technologies
  • President: Dana Barron, CEO at HB Communications
  • Vice-President: Jeff Irvin, Principal at Spinitar
  • Secretary: Kevin Groves, CEO at Alpha Video
  • Treasurer: Scott McMullan, President at Media Management

The board of directors are nominated by PSNI stockholders and a nominating committee set up by prior year’s board of directors. Nominees are then voted on by all affiliates in attendance of the PSNI Annual meeting.

“Dana is a pioneer to our industry and we are excited to welcome him as president of our board of directors,” said Executive Director of PSNI, Chris Miller.  “We believe his experience, talent and history will make an exceptional impact on our organization.”
